LottieFEST is a celebration of the life of Lottie Rapson. Lottie was diagnosed with Friedreich’s Ataxia at the age of 6 and sadly passed away aged just 27 in December last year.

Despite the many challenges that Ataxia brought, far from recoiling from life, Lottie spent most of her 10,207 days frightening the hell out of her parents with a huge smile on that beautiful face. She taught us all so many things … to focus on what you can do rather than worry about what you can’t, to see the good in everyone, to make the most of every day and never walk past an opportunity to do something mad!!
Lottie loved a festival and was often dragged to bed by her carers in the early hours of the morning. So rather than have a sad public funeral, we felt it was a fitting tribute to her life to join forces with the Saddleback Music Festival and create a day for “tan lines and good times”.
We very much hope that her many friends will be able to join us for this special celebration and help us to raise some money for two amazing charities – Ataxia UK and the Lily Foundation.
